The Connie Award, named in honor of company founder Conrad Hilton, is presented to the top-performing hotel in the Doubletree product line with the highest overall hotel performance scores. The Hotel has won the prestigious award twice, with the most recent Connie Award received in 2010. |

In 2010, The Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center, a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel, was recognized with three global awards within the Doubletree by Hilton brand in 2010. The Hotel received the highest bestowed honor, The Connie Award, singling it out as one of highest rated property by customers. In addition to the Connie Award, the Hotel was presented with their seventh consecutive Pride Award (awarded to only 10 hotels) and also received the Award of Excellence in Food and Beverage for the second year in a row. The Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center was chosen by the readers of Meetings South magazine as one of the top properties in the Southern United States, the Caribbean and the Islands in their annual Best of the South awards in 2008. Readers were asked to choose their favorite properties considering the quality of meeting space, guest rooms, staff, service, food and beverage, amenities, activities and value, and to choose properties they have used within the last two years. |

The Award of Excellence recognizes a commitment to a fine wine list, with a sufficient selection of better producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. In order to attain this recognition, restaurants must meet specific criteria with respect to the size of the wine list and its selections. |
