FREE DOUBLETREE COOKIES ON JULY 4
ROANOKE, Va. - (June 29, 2006) - The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, a Doubletree hotel, will share the spirit of Independence Day by providing legendary warm Doubletree chocolate chip cookies to the public.
Cookie-lovers can simply visit the front desk of the Hotel on July 4 and ask for a complimentary cookie. No purchase is necessary.
"It's our way to thank the community for its support and celebrate the holiday with an American tradition - the Doubletree cookie that welcomes guests when they check in," said Gary Walton, general manager.
THE DOUBLETREE COOKIE
The Doubletree tradition of greeting guests at check-in with its fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie has set the standard for welcoming hotel guests. More than 150 million of the 2½-ounce cookies, which boast an average of 20 chocolate chips, have been presented to travelers during the past two decades.
