FOR OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE IN 2006
Hotel is one of top 10 Doubletree properties in nation
ROANOKE, Va. - (March 20, 2007) - The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, a Doubletree hotel, has been honored with the prestigious Doubletree Pride Award by Hilton Hotels Corp. for outstanding hotel performance in 2006, making it one of the top 10 Doubletree hotels in the nation.
The Hotel was judged on three key components: a brand consistency index (a measurement of physical condition, cleanliness, and compliance with brand standards), guest loyalty scores (a combination of three scores from the Doubletree Satisfaction and Loyalty Tracking Report) and the brand promise scorecard (a rating system of 12 key performance service indicators). Winners were selected from the brand's 175 hotels across North America.

We are proud to present the Doubletree Pride Awards to acknowledge those hotels that have created an outstanding hotel experience, as well as encourage all of our properties to meet and exceed our guests' expectations," said Dave Horton, senior vice president - brand management for Doubletree Hotels.
Gary Walton, general manager of the Hotel Roanoke, received the award during Doubletree's general manager's conference this month.
"This award is a glowing symbol of the effort and care our employees take every day to ensure our guests and visitors enjoy their stay with us and come back again and again," Walton said. "We take great pride in our commitment to service and excellence, and it's an honor to be recognized by the Doubletree brand as a standard-bearer for outstanding performance."
