Virginia Tech Resources
Your meeting's education and training components may be enhanced through Virginia Tech's Continuing and Professional Education. This partnership
can help you meet that critical meeting need through cost effective education and training programs and services and can help your associates use new information, technologies and techniques and help find solutions to organizational challenges.
In 2008, the program presented more than 400 conferences, seminars and workshops to meet the post-college learning needs of working adults. These programs attracted more than 30,000 participants from throughout the Commonwealth, the nation, and the world.
The programs are created to:
- Disseminate the most current university research and knowledge;
- Address changing career needs and interests, and provide a deeper understanding of the information explosion;
- Facilitate collaborative programs between Virginia Tech's colleges and state, national, and international professional, business, and community groups;
- Provide comprehensive training programs--both on-campus and on-site--utilizing the expertise of faculty and professionals throughout the commonwealth.
