As part of our continued commitment to enhance our property and service, our historic property is undergoing a multi-million dollar, multi-phase renovation of all of our guest rooms and suites. RENOVATING THE GRAND OLD LADY

The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, Curio Collection by Hilton, has begun the initial phase of guest room renovations for the historic property with a $14-million makeover that brings new technology, a fresh design, and custom-made furniture to each of the property’s 327 guest rooms, including a new SALT Foot Sanctuary Suite and Health & Wellness Floor. 

“This investment by the owners of The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center shows their long-standing commitment to the hotel and our community and it is only fitting to refresh and modernize the guestrooms,” said Brian Wells, General Manager of The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center. “The project being done in phases is scheduled to take 10 months to complete. This renovation builds upon the hotel's premier status as a destination, hotel, and meeting facility in southwest Virginia.”

    The first phase of the renovation delivers a 30-room Health & Wellness Floor that will soon feature the expanded Spa Suite!         INVESTING IN THE FUTURE

        The hotel’s most recent renovation, completed in 2020, upgraded The Pine Room restaurant, created the 1882 lobby bar and added infrastructure to support hybrid meetings in the 63,000-square-foot conference center. The current guestroom renovation will be conducted in phases, about 40 rooms at a time, beginning in February 2024. The overhaul is part of a cycle all Hilton hotels follow to upgrade their facilities and is expected to be complete by November 2024.
